Gudauri snow day

Thank you so much, Slava, for a wonderful, well-coordinated, and perfectly organized hike!

All timings were precise, the food was tasty and filling!

A very scenic route, with perfectly chosen rest spots. Slava was always extremely attentive to anyone who fell even slightly behind, adjusted the pace accordingly — and still all timings stayed on track!

Excellent, comfortable transfer.

And despite the medium difficulty level, there were absolutely no issues at all.
And some unplanned moments, like meeting builders and local guys near the shelters, even added extra stories and fun intrigue for the evening)

So who kidnapped Gvantsa, and who brought her back home?)

I liked the route — moderately challenging, beautiful views, and a wonderful cool forest — it was really refreshing.

The companions were an excellent group, everyone was friendly and easygoing. I really felt your care and attention — the organization, guidance, food, frequent breaks. It was awesome that we managed to look at the stars ✨

As a fan of light hikes, I would of course prefer going light and renting everything on site, but I knew what I was signing up for 😅 I handled it better than expected) And a great posture crash test 🤣 I’d say I almost passed))

I had never slept in a tent in the mountains before, so I didn’t expect it to be THAT cold. And I read all the instructions about thermal layers and this mysterious fleece as something optional 🤣 Like, thermal underwear is for summer so you don’t get sunburned (I never do), and fleece is just in case 😁 In the end I only brought a track jacket and light pants. But Lera saved me)

People like me probably need to be warned in CAPS that it will be really cold) That these are not Tbilisi nights where you want to turn the AC on))

I think the entire trip was memorable: great company, fresh air, views. Especially the unforgettable climb on the steepest section 😅 And the Perseids — you rarely get to see that many stars.

Slava, I absolutely loved the hike! I give the whole experience 10/10! Despite my slow walking pace, there was absolutely no pressure at all (to go faster), on the contrary — there were comfortable stops to catch my breath, and it never felt awkward to ask for one. I think that’s extremely important, especially for an insecure beginner!

Everything was super clear in terms of organization — when, where (far away 😎), and why. There was zero anxiety or uncertainty!

A special highlight — coffee by the lake. Everything tastes x10 better on a hike anyway, but this coffee was just cosmic ahahahah (and other groups didn’t have it!!!)

Long story short — everything was amazing, I’m super happy I joined, it was very soulful and calm! I even feel motivated to go on some more easy hikes — I’ll be watching the announcements!

The trip to the Abudelauri Lakes turned out perfectly, in my opinion.

What I’d especially like to highlight (besides the choice of location, which was absolutely breathtaking!):

💟 Precise timing. No delays, no lateness, no unexpected stops or waiting. I love being able to rely on a schedule)

💟 The group was small, which made it warmer and more intimate)

💟 Huge separate thanks for the coffee by the lake!!!

💟 Everything was carefully thought out with safety and comfort in mind — and that’s incredibly valuable!

Excellent organization and timely communication at every stage of the trip and hike, starting from the very first message in the chat. Concise and to the point.

Everything was crystal clear, so you could fully surrender to the experience.

Comfortable and thoughtful communication within the group. Participants introduced themselves, shared interests, and how they preferred to communicate during the hike. General group signal rules were also explained beforehand.

Attention to the group’s pace. There was no rushing or rigid formation — breaks were long enough to rest, and their timing was based on the last person to arrive.

This was my first group hike, and everything went as well as possible! Snickers in the car and coffee at breaks were luxurious additions to an already great vibe!

I loved absolutely everything and would gladly go somewhere with you again 😅

I sincerely hope the "Kuda Podalshe" project achieves great success — you guys are awesome!

This wasn’t my first hike, but it was my first experience with a group where I didn’t know anyone. And it wasn’t a problem at all! It was great that at the very beginning we all introduced ourselves and set communication expectations. That helped everyone feel comfortable — huge thanks for that, Slava!

Another big plus for me was the pace. No one was rushing anywhere, we walked calmly and enjoyed the views. I hope beginners didn’t feel rushed either, since break timing started from "the last one to arrive." Special thanks to Elmira for being the sweeper — that’s always a very important support role.

Pure pleasure for the body. And for the eyes, of course! A very scenic trail.

Thank you so much for the organization (everything was perfect — timings, explanations, no extra questions needed), for the pleasant atmosphere (this includes communication and the wonderful hot coffee with Snickers!), and for the chance to enjoy the incredible beauty of nature!

I’m left with very warm impressions from the hike. A great small group — everyone had hiking experience, which created a shared vibe. Walking was comfortable, at a pace that suited everyone.

The route was non-trivial for me personally — before the hike I didn’t even know about this location, and the place is incredibly beautiful and crowd-free.

Slava, as an organizer, is attentive and sensitive — a complete sense of reliability combined with lightness 🙂

The only downside was the driver constantly turning off the AC, but the vehicle itself was very comfortable — which is an important factor for transfers. I usually don’t like group trips because of uncomfortable vans.

Hi) the hike was very interesting and intense — a completely new route for me. A great group came together, everyone walked in sync at the same level))

The route wasn’t very difficult, but quite diverse.

Though it probably would’ve been good to warn us that we might not even see the waterfall we walked 10 km to) and that we’d have to wade through water almost waist-deep… but that actually added special flavor and adrenaline to the hike))

Stunning views and a pleasant kind of exhaustion afterward!

Hi! I’m left with great feelings after the hike. The place is awesome and unusual 🫶🏻 the difficulty was optimal for such a long route — there was time to enjoy the views, not just watch your feet. It was good that there were no beginners in the group. I think for a first time it might’ve been a bit tough.

I came across "Kuda Podalshe" completely by accident — and was very happy with it. I’ve done commercial hikes and trips before, but here the details pleasantly surprised me. From the very beginning — care for the little things: a bottle of water and a chocolate bar 🥹. There was a tasty snack on the hike, prepared by Slava himself. Comfortable transfer, great driver too. And all of this for just 100 lari!

Slava turned out to be not only a great organizer, but also a very pleasant person — an easygoing, unobtrusive guide. I’m genuinely happy that such a project has appeared in the Georgian commercial landscape.

I’ll be looking forward to new routes and will definitely join again!

I’m really glad I made such a spontaneous decision to join our hike — all my expectations were met, and none of my fears came true) I have no experience with overnight stays outdoors or gear at all, so your checklist and advice turned out to be incredibly useful — I used literally everything I brought. Everything was clearly organized, and I never once felt like we were left on our own — especially when you had to sort out a misunderstanding with locals about the shelter.

We had such a comfortable, kind, pleasant atmosphere — everyone quickly found common ground, which is priceless and doesn’t always happen. And the beauty of the route is simply indescribable — with encouraging words, even with a super heavy backpack and on a steep descent, it was possible to enjoy it)

I’ll be following the announcements and definitely want to go somewhere else with you.

I’ll say it again — the hike was top-tier. It’s cool sometimes to look not only at natural beauty, but also at man-made structures) I’d say it was probably 2 out of 5 in difficulty — no massage or stretching needed, felt great the next morning. Maybe also because we didn’t sprint straight from the base to the fortress))

Thanks for the non-touristy route, mature and sensible organization, and delicious quesadilla. Didn’t take any photos — someone else definitely did it better anyway, so I’ll just steal whatever you share.

Slava, hi! As promised, here’s my review :)

I absolutely loved the hike — the experience was a solid 10 out of 10! Everything was perfectly organized, the route was incredibly beautiful — a dream. I especially want to highlight how valuable it was that the route wasn’t touristy — it truly allowed us to feel complete unity with nature and fully relax in silence and peace at the mountain summit. The difficulty level was also perfect — I wasn’t in shape after being sick and didn’t have proper gear, so I was a bit worried the long uphill hike would be too hard for me. But the entire route, with breaks, was planned so well that everything felt very okay — not too hard, but with enough effort to feel the joy of overcoming :) And a great group came together too! I’ll definitely recommend it to everyone, and next time I’ll join again — so see you soon!
